Brighter Futures is a charity working with families in Jersey by providing one to one support as well as a number of free programmes and services. Parents and carers come to us for a variety of reasons, from across the social system. All have different backgrounds, experiences, family and financial situations and many may experience financial difficulties, isolation, illness and low self-esteem. We work alongside the main carer to support child development, parent/carer-child relationships as well as family health and wellbeing.
Brighter Futures is the chosen charity of The Idea Works.
Beresford Street Kitchen is a social enterprise providing training and employment for people with learning disabilities and autism. Our vision is of an inclusive workforce, where people with learning disabilities and autism have the opportunity to maximize their potential, be recognized for their skills and be regarded positively and with respect. We currently provide training and employment for 45 people with learning disabilities and autism in our café, catering workshop and printing workshop and have a long waiting list. Every penny generated through sales goes back into the charity and the more money we raise the more positions we can offer! Beresford Street Kitchen is the chosen

We're supporting Jersey families when they need us, to help make sure children are given the best chance in life. Abuse can ruin childhoods and the effects can last a lifetime. That's why we need your support to continue our work.
We offer several services from the Gower Centre in St Helier aimed to prevent abuse from happening. And our new partnership with States of Jersey will deliver therapy to children who've suffered sexual abuse through our Letting the Future In service.
Make a donation today, and help us fight for every childhood in Jersey.
